Patience Rights (8-3-01) Maybe we
should lay off Apple and Steve for a

Mac
in the City: A Journal in July (7-29-01)
So what happens when you take a writer
and Mac fan, give him an outlet and
and media pass, and let hm write a journal
of this summer's MacWorld New York?
Dean will show you...
Skewed Mac is the online
outlet to the endless (we like "endless,"
infinite things here), observations and
musings of Dean Browell. Best read with
your favorite libation, a grain of salt
and a clear view of the outdoors.
Dean
Browell is the owner and creator of
SkewedPerspective.com,
an online magazine he started with
his creative friends as an outlet for
their digital tomfoolery. A lover of music,
comics, Apple and his wife Corri, Dean
"studied" (in the loosest sense
of the word) and graduated from Randolph-Macon
College before spending time as a
teacher, graphic designer, and at this
point, a web designer at Ferrum
College (where he is very happy).
In fact, he's hidden in the mountains
of Southwest Virginia and you might find
him if you follow the sounds of an iMac-broadcasted
baseball game (featuring Hideo Nomo) to
the screen porch where he's probably reading
with his two cats (the spectacularly overweight
Phelix, and swift, leather-chewing Indy).
Dean has written for a handful
of online publications, had three plays
produced and continues to freelance as
a designer, most recently for the DC non-profit
Purchased
Experiences Don't Count Theatre. His
education is in Drama (or "Advanced
Waiter Training") and Asian Studies.
He has a long, happy relationship with
Apple computers and advocacy.
