Time for rumors. How about some reasoned
speculation too.

There is no point to having an edge if

Joe Carson is a former computer
consultant, former music director in U.S.
West Coast dance company, currently attempting
to understand "Finale" (high end music
publishing program). He is a practicing
Ethnomusicologist sans "Union Card." Uh?
He likes music from different cultures.
A lot. Living in the LA area, he plays
music for weddings in that culturally
rich melting pot.
Joe has been a member of
AMAN, the music director in the AVAZ dance
company (Central European and Near Eastern
dance specialties at the time) and is
currently involved with DRITA, that is,
Albanian music. The site can be found

He's involved with various Greek music
and cultural organizations (his most notable
involvement was getting a bouzouki once
owned by V. Tsitsanis restored; Tsitsanis
was arguably the greatest Greek bouzouki
composer of all time), the UCLA Near Eastern
Orchestra and is currently involved with
three Arabic dance organizations (real
ones with real Arabic performers, not
the usual Hausfraus trying to engage in
Arabian Nights fantasies...) as a musician.
Um . . . . sounds like the perfect Mac
Bohemian to us!
